Mommy's angel...

Smiles are the next best thing to halos...(one of my favorite pictures of Hailey)

My baby is a year old!

My heart is so full of thanks and gratitude right now to my Mom and Grandma's. This year has been very trying (I hope to never repeat it). Though challenging, it's also been one of the most memorable and beautiful years I've ever had. I became a Mother and I have a very beautiful daughter! My little angel was born one year ago tomorrow. I am blessed to have the Mother I do.. I'm blessed to have had the Grandmother's that I've had! They have been such positive examples of what a Mother should be. My life has been full of beautiful and wonderful Mom's that have shaped me into who I am. I have so many hopes for my daughter. My greatest wish is for her true happiness! I want her to experience all she can in life. I want her to learn how to really love, how to truly listen, how to find hope, how to have faith, to persevere, to be self less, and treat others with love and respect the way Christ did. I hope she's an example to many. I pray she learns patience.. and how to find peace in this life. Most of all... I want her to know how much I love her and will be there for her when she needs me most. I'm amazed at the spirit I see in her and I know she has a powerful life ahead of her. Bless you Hailey! You're the best gift a Mother could ever ask for. My heart is full because you're now here with me. Happy Birthday Boo boo, Hay Hay, and all the other names you're known by :) My little angel! Mommy loves you!

My Lil' angel's hand

My baby today...

She still has bed head :)

Hay's new vocab words...

Hailey has been trying to expand her vocabulary lately. Today she very plainly said "Flower" and she also said "Tank to..." Thank You! :) She's been trying to say "Christmas Tree and Shoe..." they sound more like "Tee" and "Shhhh" those are hard words for an almost 1 year old... I'm a very Proud Mommy!

New tricks..

Hailey really likes "Patty Cake," you know... the childhood song. Anyway, Daddy and Nana have taught her to "Patty Cake" with her feet! The funny part is when you start to sing the song.. she plops onto her butt and falls backwards grabbing both of her feet (at least trying to.. sometimes she gets it right) and she pats them together grinning ear to ear. She's also learned how to help Mommy pull off her socks and shoes. She loves helping me! Her favorite phrase to say (randomly) is "Hi Dad," it's so cute! She belted it out while taking her bath the other day. Another funny~ Daddy taught Hailey to hit her head with both hands really fast... she's looks so proud while doing it. My baby is going to be 1 in less than a week... time sure does fly!

Soap..

Hailey decided to grab the bar of soap while taking her bath the other day. I decided to let her... hee he. It fell into the tub and she chased it around for a minute.. then.. with a huge grin on her face caught it between both hands. She looked up at me with so much accomplishment and then chomp.. a little scrunched up face looked up at me.. then chomp.. Gross! Seems she liked it! I took it from her and immediately a giant bubble formed between her lips and I couldn't stop laughing. Pretty soon she kept on coughing.. after effects of soap tasting! LOL...

Last night...

She just couldn't wait for me to finish changing her.. she was so sleepy she flipped over and this is what she did. If I could have recorded the sound, you'd hear a baby snoring!

Thanksgiving...

The girls on the way to California...
at the end of Allana's Thanksgiving vacation.

What's new??? Well, Hailey likes to cover both ears with her hands and talk.. very cute. She and Allana had a nice Thanksgiving visit. We spent most of it at Aaron's Grandpa's house in Bullhead. They spent a little time with their big brother, "Steven," too. I'll post some pictures a bit later.. my camera card is full and Amy was my photographer! I took Hailey's 1yr old pictures and some current pic's of Allana. Thank you "Tanya," for the use of your oasis! Hailey is growing up so fast! She's really understanding a lot. Because we don't have Allana on Hailey's first birthday (Dec. 22,) we celebrated it last night a month early! The theme was cupcakes. Hailey didn't get very messy at first... kept on sticking her little finger in the frosting and very slowly licking it off. With the help of a few relatives, she got a little dirtier! She was given some gifts from family as well... Aaron's cousin's & Aunt were so kind.. they bought a pinata for the kids! What fun!!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We also have had the pleasure of my sister, bro in law, nephews, and niece from Boise up here visiting for the holiday. It's been fun and I'm sad to see them leaving :( Sounds like the entire family is going to be at my Mom's for Christmas this year!! I so want to be there with everyone :( Hoping something will work out and I can. Happy Holidays are here :)
