My Sisters, Mom, and I have made a tradition of doing the March of Dimes Walk for Babies every year for the past few years. Today was no exception! We completed our walk and had the usual BBQ lunch in the park afterward. It was nice. This was Hailey's first year on the walk. She stayed nice and warm in her Jammie's and blankies. Aunt Amy took pics.. none of us remembered our camera as in past years... thank goodness for cell phones :).
Another noteworthy entry for today... Hailey laughed for the first time!! Oh my gosh so funny & way cute! We were at Aunt Nici's house and it was so funny... I tickled her and she actually laughed instead of grunting. :) I loved it!! I'm sad Daddy didn't get to see.. I promised him I'd record it on video for him.. will have to wait till tomorrow since I'm babysitting Matt & Erin's boys tonight while they go out. Fun stuff!
The BEST entry for today of all... since we don't get cell phone service in Idaho City, I didn't get the message left by Hailey's Pediatrician from yesterday. SHE'S OKAY!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE I'm so happy my baby is going to be alright. They still don't know what caused her little ER episode a few weeks back, but, at least we've ruled out Seizure's and Epilepsy etc. I'm a VERY HAPPY MOMMY!! I'll post some pic's from the walk tomorrow.

Elk, Deer, and HWY 21...
On my way to work the other morning, the sun was shinging and it was so beautiful. I'm going to miss my Idaho weather and scenery. They've had a lot of Deer and Elk coming down and getting hit on the highway. It's not unusual.. though.. I saw 5 herds this morning and happened to have my camera with me. They're not great shots.. but.. kinda fun:
Hailey's EEG Test
We had Hailey's EEG done at St. Lukes on Monday. It was quite traumatic for her... she hates her head being touched. As you can see in the pictures, they did a lot to her. First she had 25 electrodes glued to her head and one to her neck just under her chin. Second, they covered each one with paper tape to keep it on her head. Last, they bandaged her head all up to hold the electrodes firmly in place. I had to keep her sleep deprived (very difficult to do) and then she slept thru the first 20 minutes of her test. Then, I was suppose to wake her up (yeah right.. she's a deep sleeper) while they flashed lights in her face for about 5minutes with no breaks. I won't know any results from the testing for at least a week.
Our poor baby!!

Goodbye, hello, another trip to the hospital for my baby...
Our family is moving: (scroll down for pic's)
It's been a very busy few weeks for our family. It's time for Aaron to go to school. Our older kids are growing so fast, we don't want to miss any more time with them. We've decided it's best for our family to move to Nevada. We're leaving Idaho and moving on. Aaron is very happy to return "home." I am happy, but, very very SAD to leave my entire family and home! I've been struggling with it for a long time. When I finally moved back "home," to Idaho after my mission, I decided it was permanent. I'd spent enough time away from my side of the family and I wouldn't do it again. Of coarse, I hadn't thought about the possibility of marrying and having reason to leave my home. Now with Hailey, it's even harder to take her so far away. All of her cousins, Aunts, Uncles (except for Uncle Art :), and grandparents (except for Nana) live in Idaho. I always felt so bad for my cousins that didn't live near my grandparents. I felt like they missed out on so much! It's going to take work, but, I'm determined for Hailey to spend as many holidays and as much time back in Idaho as possible. I don't want her growing up seeing the family once or twice a year. For myself, it's a priority for Hailey!! Anyway, so... I had surgery to remove my gallbladder. Gosh~ I haven't felt this good in months! Then, my little beauty had a scare and ended up in the ER. Turns out, there's more to that story... I'll tell more about that in a bit. We had the moving truck scheduled for the 2nd week in April and had given notice to our landlord. We had to get our stuff to Nevada asap so Aaron could return the moving truck on time. ** by the way, if you ever have to move out of state... use BUDGET! The price difference was thousands of dollars ** So, Daddy left... Hailey and I have been staying at Mom's. We really miss Daddy. He really misses us too. I can't wait to give Aaron a hug!! I've been staying at my job waiting for Aaron to find work so we could follow him to Nevada. No luck yet~ we're still in Idaho.
Hailey's babysitters:
Hailey's been blessed with wonderful babysitters! Tara (the bishop's wife in Amy's ward) and her family took Hailey right in for 3 weeks. They treated her like their own. Hailey loved being with them. Thank you so much Tara & your family, too! Grandma Shelley was my lifesaver!! She took Hailey while I had surgery and then some time after while trying to recoup. Hailey had a ball and loves being with them so much... I can't repay you for all you've done for us! Thanks Shell!! And, now... Hailey is with Miss Rita and Miss Amie. They're a very sweet and kind family we've known for years. They're so good to Hailey. My poor baby gets up early w/Me and we drive an hour to the babysitters house. I then go to work (another 40min drive). Then, after spending the entire day with Miss Rita and Amie, I finally get to pick up my baby and drive the hour back to Grandma's house. We get there in just enough time to have dinner/bottle, give hay her bath, and lay her down for the night. :( It's so sad to me!! I HATE being without my baby and seeing her so little. We're managing... it's tough, but, it could be so much worse.
Since Daddy has been gone:
We've been able to see my nephew, "Abryn" play in his second T-Ball Game. (I promised Aaron I'd take lots of pic's since he couldn't be at Abryn's game with us.) What a fun opportunity for us. We spent Easter here at Grandma's house and were blessed with so much family. Hailey got spoiled! Mommy and Daddy got her a stuffed musical bunny and some Easter bunny Jammie's (notice in the pic the pink fluffy tail on her Jammie's). Grandma got her some really cute hair bands and some fun little bath toys! Can't wait to use all of them. Nana sent her some really cute foot rattles. Mommy is excited to try them on Hailey... I think tomorrow is perfect!
Hailey learned how to pull her butterfly to hear
Hailey had a doctor's appointment on Friday (april 17th):
She's gained a few ounces... she's still 13lbs. Her pediatrician has some concerns and is questioning if Hailey really had a seizure or if something else is wrong. So, off to the hospital we'll be going, yet again, in the morning. I was instructed to be sure she is sleep deprived (which means I will be as well) because they're doing tests. She's going to have probes 0n her little head while they're monitoring her brain waves while she is asleep. They're also going to monitor her breathing, I think. Anyway, tomorrow will be long day and I hope all is well. I'm nervous, but, so happy they're doing the tests. I'd much rather she be tested and they find nothing, than, something be wrong and it be missed. I'll update you with results soon~ Sorry about the novel. My life's been busy and I've had no time to update the blog.

Some more updates:
Hailey at 3months easily rolled onto her back when ever she wanted to & sometimes without trying. Hailey last week (the day before Easter) rolled over completely twice! Yikes! She's my rolly polly bug. I think she's getting close to cutting teeth. Her hands/fists have become her favorite toy to chew on. She now knows VERY WELL how to pull the toy on her bouncy chair that plays a song... she loves it! A new development with her... she now HATES the bath! She screams thru the entire thing.

We've seen a lot of local animals. Tons of deer, bald eagles, gophers, geese, turkeys, and hawks. I'll miss my Idaho nature.

Aunt Amy...
Aunt Amy was willing to watch Hailey for me on Sunday. She loves taking pictures and got 2 great ones of Hailey. They're also posted on her blog.. for those of you who don't look at her blog, I thought I'd share the pictures. They turned out super cute (i think :) Aunt Amy has a REALLY fast shutter speed on her camera so she was able to get some really nice smile pic's of Hailey. I've been trying for a long time now, but, every time I put a camera in her face, she's done smiling once the shutter finally opens. She smiles all the time! I feel lucky to look at her beautiful little smile most of the day.
