10lbs 2oz... she's growing up so fast already!

St. Lukes had arranged for Hailey to have her PKU test done at their Clinic about 2 weeks ago. The nurse who did the test had a difficult time. It took her pricking both of Hailey's feet and nearly 10 minutes to complete the test. I got a call this week that the test wasn't able to be processed because the nurse applied her blood unevenly on the form. :( The PKU test is suppose to be done within the first few days of a birth. They prick the baby's heel and smear the blood onto a form which has 4 or 5 spaces it's suppose to be applied to. It's used to detect disease early on. Today we had to redo the PKU test. This time, however, we were able to go to her Pediatrician instead of the Clinic. It only took one heel prick and about 2-3min to complete the test form. Yay! I like her Pediatrician. A much happier baby and Mommy. I'm not too excited about having to find another doctor for her when we leave. I really like her doctor. I hope I can get some recommendation's for a good one. Things are going pretty well. She's slowly getting better... less crying every day. She sleeps about 3-4 hours at a time. Will post more soon~
